July 8 / Day 48 / Peterborough

Jim and Tim hit the bikes again heading a bit further - to Lakefield today.  They did some boat errands on the way back, hitting Walmart and Canadian Tire.

Alice and Time went by the lift lock and the abutting lock museum that we should be experiencing Sunday.

From there we headed over to a three day 'rib fest' put on by the local Rotary club.

The marina organized a docktail party at 6 at the end of one of the docks and provided a bunch of appetizers for us.  Then @ 8 there was a big concert on the park just step from our boat.  There had to be 3000+ people there all to hear Tom Cochrane , formally of the Red Riders, a Canadian rock bank popular in the 80s.  A song of his you might be familiar with is "Life is a Highway."

We hit Peterborough at the right time; it's been a great visit here.
