Left Trenton this morning and headed onto the Trent Severn Waterway.
Locked through today with Anchor Down in front of us, a Canadian
couple on a Sundancer behind us and another Canadian couple on a pontoon boat
rafted to the Sundancer. Very tight
squeeze for our first six locks in Canada, eh.
We decided to stop early for the day about 1:30 at the top of lock 6 and
let the others go on without us, giving them more room in the locks to spread
out.
Lock 6 was wonderful.
The lockmaster, Scott Hunter, could not have been nicer and went out of
his way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay there. We joined a few other smaller boats on the
wall that had been there for a few days, and those folks, too, could not have
been more pleasant. A lovely stay all
around.
