July 7 / Day 47 / Peterborough

Our berth at the Peterborough Marina - great people watching!

Tim and Jim from Hour Plan hit their bikes in search of the Rotary Greenway Trail.  Thanks to the help of some locals found their way all the way around the trail - great ride.

We accomplished a number of boat chores today.  Many Loopers were arriving at our docks all day for the big weekend in Peterborough.  We spotted a sister ship (white American Tug, 'Bird').  Before long, owner Dave, a retired Dentist, came by our boat to say hello, and he is traveling with a black lab, and his black lab is named Millie - what are the chances?

Alice and Dave with the Millies

We spent the better part of the afternoon and dinner hanging out with Dave. Dave, by the way is single handling his way around the Loop - Impressive.
