Tuesday 3/13 It was 51 degrees when we left the dock and
a 12 knot NW breeze. We continued our
way up the ICW to Stuart with a few dolphins in our wake.

We arrived at Sunset Bay Marina about
2:00.
We passed
under 10 bridges today but only had to have the last one raised for us.
Directly behind OBSERVER was another American Tug. - a brand
new, just delivered from the West coast yesterday, grey 395; we were drooling.

Brand spankin new American Tug |
We
settled in to our spot for a couple days, toured downtown Stuart by bike and we
were invited to docktails by the fire pit @ 5:00.
We assumed the invitation came from fellow Loopers. It turns
out it was Tom from KARMA, another American Tug 395 owner.
He and his wife Jean also invited American
Tug owners of WYE TUG, LYONESS and UNFORGETTABLE.
We had a great time sharing stories of our
American Tug ownership experience.
It
was a really nice (& unique for this trip) get together, as the only other time we had seen so many American Tugs together was at the Factory in La Conner, WA.

Wednesday 3/14 cool but sunny day here in Stuart. Some dolphins came by the boat to visit.
Tried another bike route, then walked Millie
through the downtown area that's just off a nice waterfront walkway.

We liked this paining on the side of a building |
Tom & Jean gave us a tour of their 395 American Tug KARMA a 'single stateroom' model.
It's the only layout of this type built so far.
It's kind of like a stretch OBSERVER having a
little more room here and there - where you need it. Enjoyed dinner at the bar
of the Sailor's Return restaurant right next to the marina - great meal.

Sunset Cove Marina is aptly named! |
