September 3 / Day 105 / Peoria to Havana

There is a lock ahead of us that has limited access (after 5:00 pm) until 9/12 but it is open this weekend through Tuesday, so we are headed that way.  We left this morning with 2 other Loopers and made it through our one lock today without delay.  The water is low in the Illinois and access to today's marina is limited to boats with 3'6" draft (that's what we have). We went over a little mud on the way in but made it safely into our slip.  Did some boat chores, talked with locals, had Docktails with Follow that Dream and Clearwater then we walked into town and had dinner at a great place called 'Babes' (thanks Trip Advisor).  The bar at the marina was a little wild because of the holiday weekend and it being the last night they were open for the season.  No problem here; we put on the AC and didn't hear a thing.
