It was an very uncomfortable (rockin' & rollin') night
last night on the mooring. This morning
was just the same. Observer was pitching
side to side. We have a reservation in
the marina, but their office does not open til 10. Our friends AC and Jim, who had arrived the day before, scoped out our slip and
found it was empty, so we dropped that mooring ball and headed over to the calm
conditions in the slip. We are closest
to shore so great people watching and a short walk to get Millie to shore.

We will by traversing much of the same spots
later in the week but we won't have the time to take it all in while dodging commercial
traffic in this waterway. We took a
walk down Michigan Ave. for deep dish pizza with Jim & AC. The restaurant took so long to bring our food
out they comped all the pizza.
