August 26 / Day 97 / Saugatuck to St. Joseph's

Dropped our lines from the Singapore Yacht Club and headed south again to the town of St. Joseph, MI (fun fact Whirlpool is the big employer in this town).

John and Kara from Crows Nest invited Tim (actually both of us but Alice wasn't going to pass up free laundry, including detergent) over to the local marine super store 'Wolf's Marine'. It's a bit like Nautical Traders in Salem but 10 times the size.  Wolfs actually picked them up and dropped them off.

Spent the rest of the day trying to figure out if we could cross Lake Michigan tomorrow over to Chicago.  We had reviewed a number of weather sources, then compared notes with boat neighbors. In between we grilled up some chicken on the marina grill.
