November 26 - 27 / Day 189 - 190 / Cay Costa to Boca Grande

Sunday - We hung around Cay Costa Park for the morning.  First we said our good byes to our travel buddies on Golden; they are headed to Ft. Meyers today.  Tim took Millie over to the beach in the dinghy and she did a little run / swim around.  Of course, she found a deeply buried spare rib in the sand.
We left the dock about 11:30 and headed back North a short ways to  Boca Grande Marina.

We were arrived about 12:15, got help getting Observer secured and had some lunch.  After some cleaning up went for a bike tour of the  Boca Grande.  It is a beautiful and very expensive community.  A screen shot of my Realtor app. shows the prices for houses for sale near the marina.
After stretching Millie's legs with a walk into town, we went for a dinghy tour of the inland canal of Boca.  Again really nice houses and boats to boot.

This house was huge and sat on corner lot with a massive 180 degree view
We capped off our day with a fabulous dinner at the marina restaurant.  Below are some photos from our walk earlier today.

Monday - Another beautiful day in Florida. It's pretty quiet around here post Thanksgiving weekend.  Got in another bike ride and spent a bit more time in town walking around and checking things out with Millie in tow.
Banyon Street - the trees formed a complete canopy over the street

Decorated for the holidays

More Christmas decorations downtown
A bit later, we dropped off Millie back at the boat and took a walk out to the Gassparilla Lighthouse.

Our friends from Thislte, Reenie & Greg, arrived at the marina later in the afternoon.  We made plans to meet them at the Pink Elephant for dinner and had a great time catching up on our separate adventures and future plans.
