This morning we again rented a car from Enterprise and headed to the Culinary Institute of America for lunch. We ate at American Bounty, their farm to table restaurant and it was excellent!

After lunch and a quick stop in the gift shop where Alice just had to buy stuff for the galley that we don't have room for, we headed over to the FDR Estate for a tour. It began with a 20 minute movie overviewing FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt's contributions to America and ended with an hour and a half guided tour of their estate.
Springwood, where FDR was born, lived (when not at the White House) and is buried. |
FDR's burial plot. The gardens surrounding it are beautiful. |
